The Roads Behind Your Wheels
The Roads Behind Your Wheels, South on Something's new album, is Southern Rock meets Americana--offering up a 2020s merger of the classic southern rock sounds of bands like The Allman Brothers and The Marshall Tucker Band with a folk rock undertone reminiscent of Neil Young and Tom Waits. The album is filled with stories of reminiscence and self-awareness thematically best summed up with these lyrics from the song Baptized in the James: “Tearing through the years putting miles and miles and miles tween there and here. But time reveals the roads behind your wheels don't disappear."
